Who we are

The Exceptional Diva (THE EXCEPTIONAL DIVA-DIVATUDE MOTIVATIONAL & EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE INTERNATIONAL) is a non-governmental organisation registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, registration number CAC/IT/NO 120319, based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Our commitment

We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. We collect only what we need, tell you why we need it, keep it secure, and never sell it.

What we collect and why

• Sponsors and donors: name, organisation name, email address, phone number, gift amount, the project you chose and, where you supply one, your organisation logo. We use this to confirm your gift, issue acknowledgements, account for how funds are assigned, and list you on the Supporters Roll at your tier unless you ask to remain anonymous.
• Contact enquiries: name, email address, subject and message, used only to reply to you.
• Volunteer applications: name, email address, phone number, skills and availability, used to assess and coordinate volunteering.

Payment information

We never see or store card details. Card payments, once enabled, are processed by our payment provider, and bank transfers are made directly to our published account.

Keeping and sharing data

We keep records for as long as we need them for accounting, reporting and audit obligations, then delete them. We share data only with service providers who help us run this website, our payment processing and our email, and only where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its use, or withdraw consent. Contact us and we will respond.
