Around 200 women and girls, from young adolescents to older women, took part in our hygiene and health awareness programme in Elekahia.

The sessions covered personal hygiene, menstrual health, infection prevention and healthy everyday practices, in plain language and with room for questions.

Every participant received a care package with sanitary pads, toothbrushes, food items and other essentials, so the lessons of the day went home with something practical.
